Healing Begins with Feeling Safe!

Trauma can change the way we think, feel, and experience the world—but it does not define who we are.

Whether you've experienced a single traumatic event or ongoing adversity, healing is possible. At Clear Coast Health, we provide compassionate, trauma-informed therapy that meets you where you are and supports you at your own pace.

Our therapists create a safe, supportive environment where you can process difficult experiences, rebuild resilience, and move toward lasting healing.

You don't have to carry your story alone.

What Is Trauma?

Trauma is an emotional and physical response to an event—or series of events—that feels overwhelming or threatens your sense of safety.

Trauma affects everyone differently. Two people can experience the same event and respond in completely different ways.

Examples of traumatic experiences include:

  • Physical, emotional, or sexual abuse

  • Childhood neglect

  • Domestic violence

  • Serious accidents

  • Medical trauma

  • Military combat

  • Natural disasters

  • Grief and sudden loss

  • Workplace trauma

  • Community violence

  • Bullying

  • Chronic stress

Experiencing trauma does not mean you're weak. Your responses are often your mind and body's way of protecting you.
